Who We Are
Gospel Community of Sarasota is a church focused on reaching the communities in and around Sarasota with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
At Gospel Community, we strive to glorify God through Gospel-Centered Worship, Gospel-Centered Community, and Gospel-Centered Disciple-Making. Each of these events is vital to what we do here at Gospel Community. In fact, we have designed a special time during the week for each of these events to take place. You can read more of the specifics of these events below.
Worship
Join us Sunday mornings in worshipping our God in singing, giving, and preaching. You can expect a time of thoughtful worship filled with singing praise to God and expository preaching from the Bible.
Child care is provided for kids from birth to 4 years old.
Discussion Groups
Every Sunday after the morning service we take 30-45 minutes to talk about the message we just heard. It is a great opportunity to ask questions and to learn more abut the passage by hearing from others in the church.
During discussion group we also have a children's class for kids up to 6th grade.
Community Groups
The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. In our Community Groups, we try to accomplish three things: 1) Personal Bible Reading 2) Scripture Memory
3) Prayer for Disciple-Making Opportunities. Community Groups are a great way to get connected to other believers in the church as we grow in our walk together.
Each group is made up of 3-5 people, men with men and women with women. Groups meet throughout the week and at various locations. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about Community Groups.
